A 14-Kilometer Masterpiece of Water, Moss, and Maple
In the northern reaches of Aomori Prefecture, the Oirase Stream flows out of Lake Towada, winding through a deep forest for 14 kilometers. The Oirase Gorge autumn leaves are considered the most beautiful riverside foliage in Japan.
